SUSAN HUFTON has worked professionally with calligraphy and lettering since 1986.

She has undertaken many commissions using written, carved and painted lettering for private individuals and for public spaces and churches, including the writing of manuscript books. Teaching calligraphy, lettering and bookbinding is an important part of her work. Her work is in collections at the V&A and the Crafts Study Centre. She was a scribe of the Saint John’s Bible, now housed in Minnesota and exhibited around the United States.
