Woodwork

One Oak Project

The OneOak project – following the full life story of one oak tree – is an environmental education project of the Sylva Foundation aiming to reconnect people with growing trees for wood, and with using wood.

The One Oak Project will be resident in the Woodwork marquee. Three demonstrators will use wood from the same tree felled at Blenheim in January. They are Mike Ward who will smoke charcoal, the furniture maker Irving Rodas and Martin Damen who makes spoons and bowls.
