Practical Classes – Embossed jewellery (12 – 17)

Through the use of techniques such as cutting, sawing, filing, drilling and colouring, an item of jewellery (drop-earrings, studs, brooch or pendant) will be created from either copper or brass and possibly silver, titanium or niobium. By cutting a pattern through masking tape attached to the metal, this will then be rolled so that the tape presses into the metal producing a textured surface pattern. If used, the silver, titanium, niobium and some findings will incur extra cost.
