How to Get There

The Gallery

The Gallery at Waterperry offers a wide range of work by established and emerging UK-based artists. Housed within a beautifully-restored 18th century barn, special attention is paid to raising the profile of local artists. Quarterly exhibitions are held to showcase selected work and a regular newsletter keeps visitors informed of exhibitions and special events. Ceramics, jewellery, sculpture and textiles make up just a small selection of what’s on offer, with displays changing regularly to provide new interest.

The Gallery’s reputation as the home of quality arts and crafts has established it as a venue for unique gifts to suit every budget and taste. It’s also at the heart of the annual Art in Action Festival at Waterperry each July, where more than 150 artists take over the grounds to demonstrate their skills.
The Gallery at Waterperry forms part of the wider Waterperry estate which is home to 8 acres of beautiful ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre, Teashop and museum of rural life. There’s also a year round programme of arts, crafts and gardening courses and events from outdoor theatre and concerts to horticulturally themed weekend.

The Waterperry Gallery can be a great place to pick-up a work of beauty during Art in Action. All the work on sale is sourced from designer-makers and includes ceramics, glass, jewellery, print, textiles and wood. The Gallery makes a special effort to support both emerging and established artists from the UK.

Entry is free and you are assured a warm welcome.
The Gallery is located next to the Garden Centre.
