The arts and craft scene in the UK has many dimensions. In addition to the fine array of artists and craftspeople of all ages, there are many worthy organisations that provide much needed support in organising art events and courses, running arts related charities and providing marketing opportunities to match up artist with buyer.

The Directory will help you connect with some of these fine organisations as well as any of the artists and design-makers who have participated in Art in Action since 2006. We have selected organisations who share our belief that good art, beautifully crafted to the highest standard, is worth making for its own sake.
