At the moment Ros is painting less botanically, She is painting plants where they naturally grow whether in gardens or wild spaces. She has drawn inspiration from friends gardens and the garden at her daughter’s school. Ros loves the contrast of colour, texture and form found in garden borders and has been inspired by the garden borders at Great Dixter designed by the late Christophere Lloyd. It is the colour combinations their energy, scale and beauty that she endeavours to capture and emulate.
