Distinctive woodturning both functional and decorative chosen from a very wide range of work, incorporating inlays in various forms, and more recently marquetry. Bowls are mostly in locally sourced ash with geometrically arranged patterns of inlays in contrasting woods. Paperweights, from a range of native and imported species – all suitably weighted – inlaid with either wood or patinated copper discs. The purely decorative discus forms, set on their own stands, are usually inlaid with contrasting wood species, both native and exotic (but all from sustainable sources).
