reduction lino printing by hand. Ian Phillips hand prints reduction lino cuts of the landscape from his studio in Mid Wales. He also teaches reduction lino to small groups and classes. Ian has been printing in lino for over twenty years now and at this years Art in Action will be demonstrating his exacting process of reduction printing by which these colourful and dramatic pieces are created from a single sheet of lino. He may also be cutting richly patterned black and white prints inspired by his time in Australia and having a go at mutiblock printing.
