Harriet Coleridge will be throwing, altering and assembling pots; she will make some simple forms and add wheel thrown coils to them to give them long necks, wide collars, pedestal feet.

She will use her finished pots to show the variety of effects that can be achieved with reduction fired carbon trap glazes on different clays. Harriet makes most of her pots on the wheel. She has a wide range of ware for daily use as well as pebbles, bottles and fish. She uses carbon trap glazes which are fiercely reduced for dramatic surface effects and enhanced with gold lustre, sparingly applied by brush. She will be demonstrating throwing and assembling pots, starting with simple forms and adding coils for collars and feet.
