Dianne makes individual hand built matt glazed ceramics – boxes, bowls and wall pieces and decorative porcelain spoons. The pieces are either constructed using black clay and a matt white glaze or textured clay treated with a dry, green blue colour wash. Sources of inspiration include West African adobe architectural details, surface textures and ‘worn away’ surfaces. A new addition is decorative porcelain spoons.
