Diana enjoys an explorative and experimental approach to lino printing, devising innovative ways to achieve different effects with this humble material. Creating prints using caustic soda for tonal qualities on ‘old school lino’, engraving and texturing vinyl with electric hand drills, inking intaglio (like an etching), creating mixes of colours by overlaying inks using rollers and stencils. Encompassing landscape, botany and architectural subjects, as her starting point for prints.
