Bobbie Kociejowski will be demonstrating hand weaving from inspiration to finished article on a floor loom using traditional methods to create contemporary textiles inspired by the colours in nature. Bobbie’s work is entirely hand-woven and hand-finished. She uses mainly silk, linen and fine wool to create one-off shawls and scarves. The drape and handle of the cloth as well as colour interaction caused by the three-dimensional construction of woven cloth are major pre-occupations.
