Gill’s work is a reflection of her personal response to working with the fragility of glass, exploring the principles based on flame work techniques. Her most recent work explores the use of borosilicate glass, constructing 3 dimensional forms to create sculptural designs in jewellery. Gill’s inspiration is drawn from observational studies in natural forms, many of which represent stylized interpretations of pattern and texture.
