19 – Simply Looking: Sarah Spackman

Still-life has been used by many artists as a vehicle for the exploration of colour, form and line.  This course will develop your skills by focusing on looking, looking and looking again!  Sarah will set up a still-life in the studio and students will be encouraged to make a painting based on observation.  We will experiment with colour mixing using a limited palette, and practise using colour to explore form and space.

This course is designed for those wishing to develop their oil or acrylic painting.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided each day on arrival and in the afternoon.  Lunch – students can either bring their own lunch or at Waterperry there are delicious lunches at the Tea Shop and in London there are various local eateries.

If you cancel your booking up to 21 days before the course begins, and do not chose to transfer to another advertised course you will receive a 50% refund.
