16 – Making the Most of That Idea: Sarah Holliday

Using the lovely environment of Waterperry for inspiration the course will focus on learning various methods to help individuals become clearer about WHY they want to paint a particular subject and how to get the most out of their idea.  Sarah will help students to progress and develop their ideas in practical ways, like where to begin! or how to maintain direction.  It is very easy to just plunge into a painting and lose sight of the initial spark.  There will be lots of initial quick, focused drawing and thinking leading into more complete paintings.  Students can use whatever medium they feel most comfortable with.
