23 – Common Thread: textiles: Kate Wells

Kate will lead a workshop exploring the fine line between ‘art’ and ‘textiles’ to discover a rich vocabulary of texture, line, pattern and tone crossing from (and combining) paper to fabric, line to stitch, collage to composition.  Hand and simple machine embroidery will be included.  This will lad to a collection of samples and possibilities.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided each day on arrival and in the afternoon.  Lunch – students can either bring their own lunch or at Waterperry there are delicious lunches at the Tea Shop.

If we have to cancel your course before it starts we will give you a full refund or you can choose to transfer to another advertised course if spaces are available. If you cancel your booking up to 21 days before the course begins, and do not chose to transfer to another advertised course you will receive a 50% refund.
