13 – Landscape Painting: oils: Judith Gardner

Walking and drawing from observatiion.  Painting small studies ‘in situ’ using a limited palette.  We will consider elements within the landscape including atmosphere, effects of light, handling of buildings and trees.  You can then select a part of the landscape and develop paintings from that subject.  If wet, foliage and flowers will be the subject matter.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided each day on arrival and in the afternoon.  Lunch – students can either bring their own lunch or at Waterperry there are delicious lunches at the Tea Shop.

If we have to cancel your course before it starts we will give you a full refund or you can choose to transfer to another advertised course if spaces are available. If you cancel your booking up to 21 days before the course begins, and do not chose to transfer to another advertised course you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel after that period the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we are able to fill the vacant place we will give you a 50% refund
