Art in Action Away Day
The Art in Action Away Day is a day that offers organisations a unique way to come together in an environment that encourages creative thinking and action.
See and be inspired by more than 200 artists and performers creating marvellous art and crafts, who are ready to discuss their work and answer any questions you may have. There are also more than 100 designer-makers offering their hand-made crafts in the Market and one of the biggest assembly of Art Materials providers under one roof.
The highlight for many is to have a go in the Practical Class area which includes teachers from some of the country’s top art colleges and guilds who will guide you through the creative process. You can choose from more than 25 different classes.
There are free lectures on various aspects of art, instrumental and vocal concerts plus international dancers, and musicians performing in the Waterperry open air theatre. You also have free access to beautiful Waterperry Gardens.
