4 – Watercolour: Ali Yanya

Throughout studio based projects and observational studies demonstrated by the tutor, you will be focusing on:

colour mixing (monochrome, similar colours and complimentary colours)

layering (wet on dry, wet on wet)

glazing (changing the colour by a succession of layers)

composition (balancing the image on appropriate format)

With these sharpened skills you will be able to work on location in the inspirational Waterperry Gardens.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided each day on arrival and in the afternoon.  Lunch – students can either bring their own lunch or at Waterperry there are delicious lunches at the Tea Shop and in London there are various local eateries.

Terms and Conditions

If we have to cancel your course before it starts we will give you a full refund or you can choose to transfer to another advertised course if spaces are available. If you cancel your booking up to 21 days before the course begins, and do not chose to transfer to another advertised course you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel after that period the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we are able to fill the vacant place we will give you a 50% refund
