The Lectures at Art in Action aim to provide an insight into the thoughts, processes and inspiration which lie behind the creation of a work of art and other disciplines that shed light on our understanding of the world in which we live. All lectures are free and time is allotted for questions from the public.
Watch guest lecturer Andrew Marr at Art in Action 2014:
Watch Art in Action’s First Annual Guest Lecture with Lord Harries of Pentregarth, former Bishop of Oxford and Lord (Melvyn) Bragg of Wigton, held at the 2013 event. The question they explore is, ‘Is there a spiritual dimension to the arts? If so, in what does it consist?’
These were the lectures in 2014, lectures for 2015 will be updated soon.
