During Art in Action,The Bookshop was an excellent place to purchase specialist books on philosophy, economics and art. Subjects include Adviata philosophy, Christian mysticism, classical Greek philosophy including Plato, Economics, particularly Georgist and contemporary interpretations of Georgist thinking, Poetry, Renaissance art, Sanskrit and Vedic Science including Ayurveda, Jyotish and Mathematics.
About eighty titles are by students of the School of Economic Science, the organisers of Art in Action. These include a seven volume translation of The Letters of Marsilio Ficino, the Renaissance philosopher-priest, and a new translation of Hermes Trismegistus.
There is also an excellent selection of childrens books and best literature from past and present.
